History About MikroTik :
MikroTik is a small company headquartered in Latvia, which was formed by John Trully and Arnis Riekstins.
In 1996 John and Arnis start with Linux and MS DOS system combined with Wireless LAN (W-LAN) AERONET with speeds of 2Mbps in Moldova.
First time, they used Kernel 2.2 and developed together with the help of 5-15 people R&D staff.

The meaning of MikroTik
MikroTik is an operating system which installed on a computer so it can act as a controller or regulator of data traffic between networks, this kind of computer known as routers. So basically MikroTik is an RouterOS known as one of the reliable and has many features to support a network.

Function of MikroTik
Mikrotik Router can be used on a small scale computer networks or large, this case of course adapted to the resource rather than the computer itself.
